I buy most of my toner cartridges from the same seller on ebay. I
usually get 1000-1200 pages per cartridge. When I bought a Canon brand
cartridge at a local office store, I only got 886 pages. My last two
cartridges via the ebay seller have only produced 763 pages and just
under 700 pages. The last two allowed me to print another 50 pages
after saying it was out, and I shook the cartridge. The others never
gave me a single page more.
I have never had the pages look bad, so I know they are not truly out.
Is there any way to convince the printer to use them a bit more? The
ebay ones are much better in price, but it is really frustrating to
expect 1000 pages or more per cartridge only to have it run out in the
600s.
The canon brand cartridges cost 3-4 times the amount of the ebay ones,
so I am hoping never to need one in a hurry again.
