canon mf3110 printer installation problem

I'm installing this in XP that already has two printers installed that
I
need installed, and two pdf printers. I tried to install it about a
week
ago and there was no sign it was installed. The attempt now gives a
reading
that the driver is already installed.

I don't see any information online about this problem.
