My Canon S300 printer suddenly has alignment problem. I try to follow
the instruction to clean the printer head and to fix the alignment,
but I don't think the Canon instruction is clear. When I do the
nozzle check and exame the pattern, what I see is:

which requires me to pick the smoothest one of each group. The color
groups look ok, but the black ink groups (A, D, F) look aweful and I
have no idea which one to choose:

Does anyone have any suggestion of what I should do at this stage? It
used to be such a good printer and I want to save it.

Thank you for any help!

From here it looks like your black groups aren't printing properly,
the black lines look distorted. Is there streaking when you print black
text?... a clog?

Also, to get a better image so you don't have to strain your eyes
as much, print the alignment sheet on a higher resolution paper,
like coated paper.
