Canon i9900 shadows

Is it using CMY to generate the black in the shadows, rather than a
genuine black? Have you changed from some setting to some other setting
that might be causing that?

ARE YOU AND HAV YOU ALWAYS USED OEM CANON INK. IF NOT THEN THAT IS YOUR
PROBLEM.
