Hi,
I have a very nice new i850 which I'm exceptionally pleased with. However,
the cost of Canon paper here in the UK is alarming. I've tried printing on
Kodak but find the ink doesn't dry quick enough, the colours are faded and
it splodges (technical term) for want of a better word. Does anyone have any
recommendations for photo quality paper, matt or glossy - doesn't matter,
that works well with Canon printers. Has to be in the UK and has to be in
the High St.
TIA

Suze

There are quite a few paper bargains at www.inkylink.co.uk where using the
JetTec or Canon cartridges produces a very quick drying finish.

In the writings of Sue, the <QYfAb.743$Jd7.5776@newsfep4-

Try this following site:

http://www.7dayshop.com

Go for the Ilford paper, it's cheaper than the Canon paper and a lot of
people swear by it. I use the Classic series of papers and have been
impress with the results.

Ink is fairly cheap there, only downside of the site is that it takes a
long time (about 7 days) to arrive.

As for high street you'd be hard pressed to find cheap paper, try
Calumet or sometimes WH Smith has paper deals (especially on the run up
to Xmas or just after).

You should try Jessops I got 20 sheets of Canon 6*4 photo paper pro for only
£5:49 That very well priced..
I have tried the Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy and that is good to but for
£6:99 from PCWorld it's not as good as the pro...
They also are dry as soon as they are finished printing..

I would second the use of Ilford Galerie paper in Canon printers. I use the Smooth Gloss in an S820 (6 ink) and find it exceptionally good and it appears to dry almost immediately
phillip.,...
