everytime i boot up the windowsXP it detect my printer and
makes a copy of my existing printer in the "printer and
fax" window, how can i make the PC to recognize that the
printer is already installed? need a quick help! thanks a

This is usually seen when the printer is connected to the PC BEFORE the
software is installed.

I would do an uninstall and reinstall and see if the problem goes away.
