According to the Microsoft knowledge Base Windows XP has
built in drivers for this DV camcorder. In addition, at
one time the the camcorder did work with XP, but not now.
When looking in the Device manager I can find the OHCI
compliant IEEE 1394 host controller listed. Under
properties it states this device is working properly. DV
IN appears on camcorder LCD when it's connected to the
computer. During the period of time the camcorder was
working right it appeared as an imaging device in the
Device Manager, but not now. I have tried it on two
different computers with two different cables. I also
installed Windows Movie Maker II on one of the computers.
Does anyone have suggestion of what to try next?
