I have two computers, nearly new, and each with XP.
One prints great on my Canon printer, the other will
print a great test page after I've reinstalled the
printer, but then begins to print garbage with one or two
lines per page till it runs out of gas.
Help

Probably corrupted printer drivers. Uninstall and reinstall using the
instructions at:

I did all that, and that included something I had not
been trying, i.e., to go to Server Properties and delete
the drivers. I did that and unfortunately my computer
when following the exact instructions, printed the same
way when the driver was reinstalled.
double Help!

Let's try one more time with a complete blitz of all the drivers that might
be around..... including anything in the Registry that might be the
cause.... follow Bruce Sanderson's instructions at
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Let us know whether the situation changes.
