It's a parallel port printer, right? Set the LPT port in the BIOS to EPP...
Then right click on My Computer and select Properties. On the second tab,
Hardware, click on Device Manager.
Go down to Ports (Com and LPT).; Click on the + to expand the tree and then
on the entry for LPT port.... In the Port Settings tab, ensujre you have a
check mark in Enable Legacy Plug and Play.
