Much better to take out the card from the camera and insert it into a card
reader/writer. A lot of laptops will accept certain cards directly without
needing card readers/writers.
Far more sensible idea that hooking up the camera and it runs out of battery
juice in the middle of doing something. Tough luck! Or connect the camera up
to the mains. Too much trouble.
Hooking up the camera to the computer is like doing it with a hooker. No
pleasure in it.
