Did anybody had problems with the printheads of these printers?
What's their life?
Canon claims that will last for the life of the printer is it true?

Canon isn't specific, but I would guess years.

That's still an unknown since the printers are only a year old.

However, I have yet to see a post here about a failed printhead from the
Canon i-series.

I found something a while back that stated 35,000 pages.
I believe it was in this newsgroup but not for certain.
