Canon 530 multifunction inkjet problem ?

I haven't used this machine for incoming faxes or printing for a
couple of months . I went to use it and og the blinking read light and
the replace cartridge warning . I assume that the cartridges had dried
out so I replaced them . I still get the same message after replacing
them . What should I do next ?
