Running Windows XP SP3 and Office 2007

Every new user on my network gets a home folder created which they have full
rights to but since installing Service Pack 3 they cannot 1) Save a file to
this network folder using any Office 2007 application. 2) Rename a file in
there home directory. They can save to other network locations and they can
use another program like notepad and save to their home directory without
any problems.

Has anyone seen this or know of a solution?

Enrique

Free unlimited installation and compatibility support is available for
Windows XP, but only for Service Pack 3 (SP3), until 14 Apr-09. Chat and
e-mail support is available only in the United States and Canada. Go to
http://support.microsoft.com/oas/def...spx?gprid=1173 | select "Windows
XP" then select "Windows XP Service Pack 3"

Have a look at this KB article as it might have useful info or

Thanks for the support info. Because my computers are on a domain they
referred me to an 800 number which I'll call tomorrow (800-936-5700). Don't
know if there will be a charge.
