Hi
I have tried any thing to remedy this problem to no
avail. All of a sudden I cannot use my floppy drive on my
system. When trying to write to a floppy in windows, it
give an error, an unexpected I/O Error occured or it just
does not do the job. The access light stays on after this.
Please help.

1. I have replaced the motherboard (Intel 865 PERL)
2. Replaced the floppy cable.
3. Replaced the floppy drive.
etc, etc etc.

I am desperate! The floppy workes in DOS.

I have read Marks Message, but it is not relevant to my
problem. It easy to say reinstall... I would rather find
the problem as I have many programs installed, and I'd
have to do them all over again. I tried an over install,
but it also did not work.
Hope we find an answer.
Regards
Michél
