I like to create spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and then copy & paste
special into a Microsoft Outlook email message as "Picture (Windows
Metafile)" in order to maintain the format. I am using Microsoft Outlook
2003 SP3.

However, when I go into my Sent folders, the pasted picture/object does not
appear in the body of the original message. Additionally, there are times
when I send this message, someone replies to me, and it comes back into my
inbox where I cannot see the object again.

It must have something to do with security settings. Any ideas? Thank you!
