Every time I click on the internet explorer icon it shows up in my
taskbar, but will not open up. I have tried to maximize it, restore
it, and minimize it. Nothing happens. The internet window will open
up in my other user account, but the settings are the same in both
accounts so I don't understand why it works in one and not the other.
All other programs work fine. I have Internet explorer 7.0 and Windows
XP. Any advice?

If you think the problem is with IE7 Beta, then please post in the IE7
newsgroup.

I see in http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/default.mspx that
the recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:

If you must use a web interface:
