On Win XP Pro with IE6 I cannot view the html source. It
doesn't matter if I have clicked on View -> Source or
right clicked and then clicked View Source I cannot see
the source code. This is a problem when I am trying to
debug web apps. Is this a setting that I need to change?

That's amazing - I've posted the same question shortly
before you - and also fixed the issue by myself.

Problem is a damaged Temporary Directory, which you can't
delete because is a system dir.
Anyway you can change the location of the directory, and
Explorer does all the repair stuff.
Obviously you can set back the original dir if you want -
the problem is gone.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
