I'm out of ideas, then.
If it was a matter crashing or stalling out when doing the Send To, I'd
suggest rebooting, turning off everything you can, and then doing the Send.
This is because Send to Word seems to take a lot of "juice," and I find that
if I have too much open on the system, I can't do a Send for lack of
resources. It's worth a try on your end, but I doubt it will resolve the
issue. It might be worth a call to MS Product Support, but there will be a
fee.
You could also try Shyam's Handout Wizard, which is more powerful than Send
to Word. It's not free, either, but there is a fully functional trial.

Oh, wait, I do have one more idea. Try turning off your antivirus program
before doing the Send to Word. And if you have, for instance, Norton
AntiVirus with the Office Plug-In enabled, be sure to disable that plug-in.
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;329820 has
instructions on how to disable that.
