Hi All

I have a Canon canoscan LiDE 60 scanner attached to the pc with USB
connector. I updated Windows XP & Office 2002 recently and when I tried to
use scanner scan to email and scan to pdf options with Outlook 2002, it came
up with the following error,
"The Command Line Argument is Not Valid. Please Verify the Switch You are
Using."

Anyone knows any solution to this problem

If you remove the updates you applied, does it start working again?

I have the same issue with a Brother MFC-8440. I can scan to a file but not
an e-mail and get the same error message. I didn't connect it to updates
until yesterday when my husband downloaded the most current updates and his
scanner (a different model) started giving him the same error. Mine started
several months ago.

I failed to say that this error is in Outlook 2003.
