when i try to upload photos in hotmail, i get the following message:

"Internet explorer has blocked this site from using an ActiveX control in an
unsafe manner. As a result this page may not display correctly."

Consequently, the three selections for managing the photos are: Edit
photos, view thumnails and attach files......I'm thinking it should say:
upload now instead of attach files.

if ActiveX control is the problem, how can i get internet explorer to
unblock the site?

I think it is this one:

Internet Explorer Security setting:

Internet Explorer
Tools
Internet Options
Security
Internet
Custom level
(mine is set for Medium-high (default))
Or you can scroll down to change the individual ActiveX settings

Be certain to "Apply" your changes.

Or it may be:

Outlook Express
Tools
Options
Security Tab
Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened . . . (uncheck)

Be certain to apply you changes.

Nanofish,
I was having the same problem and then I went back to classic view.

Try going to - Switch to Classic - at the bottom of the page, when I did
this it automatically prompted me to the new upload feature.
