Whenever I try to update to new version of Internet
Explorer or Windows SP-1 my computer displays:
"Windows cannot verify the integrity of Update.inf, make
sure the cryptographic service is turned on." I searched
for update.inf and it is not on my computer. Please help.

Rename catroot2:
Reboot, login to an Administrator account.
Double click My Computer.
Double click C drive.
Double click Windows file.
Double click System32 file.
Right click catroot2, click rename, type "catroot2old"
ENTER
