I installed a game which requires latest directX version (I currently have
9.0c),

But when attempting to install the directX version that came with in the
game, the following warning came up

"the software you are installing has not passed Windows logo

testing to verify it's compatibility with winowsXP

the software will not be installed,contact your system administrator"

which didn't give me any option to continue but cancel,

then I downloaded directX from the official MSwebsite and tried to install,
but the same problem poped up, :-(

Then I referred to several forums and tried changing "drive signing
options"and"cryptographic services", which never worked out,

If someone please can help me out on this issue I will be very grateful,

I presume it`s the game software that is being refused ?

If it's DX10, a friend just informed me you have to have Vista to run it.
