I have had no problems with MSAS until now. It asked me to install the new
update and when i did, it got the message "Cannot connect tot the Internet.
Unable to establish connection." However, i was connected to the internet at
the time.

I have gone through the windows firewall and added the MSAS EXE file along
with the updater and the alert service EXE as the instructions said in the
program and it still doesn't work. I tried to revert back to the older
version of MSAS but after unistalling the latest version the same thing
happens with the older version.

What has happened to the program and does anyone have any ideas on how to
solve the issue?

Over to you Microsoft?

Actually i have exactly the same problem here in Aus. Have reinstalled
twice, disabled firewalls etc and still can not update yet there is no
problem at all with the internet connection.

It is happening on both my desktop and portable which are running different
anti-virus programs and only connected by the router.

Would welcome any advice on this matter.

Having the same problem with updating, I also get the message "Cannot connect
to the Internet. Unable to establish connection."

Was wondering if there was ever a solution found?

This problem appears to me to have been a routing issue of some kind. I
believe it is now resolved, and would like to hear from anyone for whom it
isn't.
