I got an All-in-Wonder 128 AGP card from a friend, unused, and put it into
a 1G Athlon/ASUS machine running Win2000 AS (what I had on hand) and it
works quite fine for watching TV.
However, there's one channel, TSN - channel 20 on Shaw Cablesystems in
Edmonton - that refuses to tune, or if it does, hold tuning for more than
a second. Usually changing to that channel results in a blue picture (not
a BSOD), or a 1-second glimpse of the programming and then the blue
picture. All of the 50+ channels I get as a package come in fine except
TSN. All channels work on the 2 TVs we have in the house. There was a
short period after I set everything up that TSN would tune for a while if
it ever did.
I am running the latest ATI drivers and MMC and DVD software and Win2K
updates.
