Cannot start Outlook 2007 - outlook.pst

I really really hope that somebody knows how to fix this

I get a message: Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot
be opened. Errors have been detected in c:\....\outlook.pst.

It is adviced to run scanpst.exe to solve the problem. But when I do,
scanpst.exe says that I must check for disk problems and then try again. But
my computer says that there are no disk problems. So i am stuck.
