Cannot shut down automatically

good afternoon
my PC is P-III 500 MHz
if i want to shut down, it cant shutdown automatically, it's show "it's now safe to turn of ur computer". i need to shut down it by press power button. but my power supply is ATX. after repair my windows i am faceing this problem. PLZ help me

Go into power options in control panel there should be a tab for
ACPI enable it
