When I try to hide or group columns in an Excel file, I get the warning
message: 'Cannot shift objects off sheet'. Why does this happen? How do I

i'ver never gotten that message when trying to hide columns only with trying
to add but i do get that message when excel has lost it's used range
reference and thinks i'm am using a lot more space on the sheet than I really
am.
see this site on how to reset the used range. might clear the problem.
