Cannot set permissions on FILENAME

We have this exact problem, unfortunately the checkdisk didn't fix it and it is on a large number of files spread over various images it seems. Anyone got any idea how fix this or what could be causing this? It is a logical drive on a RAID array on win2k server with sp4 installed.
