Hi All,
When I right click Desktop>Properties>Desktop>Browse and select a
..jpg nothing happens. If .bmp is selected, it will be shown. I can go
directly to a .jpg and select "Set as Desktop Background" and that will
work. I have this problem on my main computer, all other similar computers
work fine with same pictures. Any ideas?

TIA,
Kent

Try these commands from Start > Run :

regSvr32 /i shimGvw.dll
regSvr32 /i msHtml.dll
regSvr32 /i shell32.dll

The command REGSVR32 /i MSHTML.DLL had error message.

Said entry point not found and that MSHTML.DLL does not appear to be a .DLL
or .OCX file.

Any ideas? I will look to see if I can copy MSHTML.DLL from an other
computer.

Tried registering the module? (regsvr32 /i mshtml.dll)
Also, try that only if you have IE6 installed.
