In windows XP embedded with MUI, you cannot set thruly the 24h format, it is
only displayed on the task bar.
But when you open it (the date e time proprieties) you can see only 12h
format.
I set correctly every tab on "International Settings", like the HowTo tells
to do.
My problem is that I have a management software that use the 24h format but
get time from Windows, so it cannot display the time correctly.

I cannot load the Italian Keyboard layout too.

Here is what I would try. Enable everything the way you
like it on an XP Pro system, make sure the settings work
as you expect. Then go to the system registry and export
the following registry branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International

Then merge the reg file into your Embedded image and see
if things work as expected. I am pretty sure this is the
registry key that controls these user settings.

As for your keyboard issue, did you enable the additional
keyboard layouts available in the Italian Language
Support component? You can add supporting fonts and
codepages too.
