You get that detail from your mail provider or ISP.

Tell us who you pay for internet access (ISP), and tell us the bit after the
@ in the email address that you are trying to set up.

Then we have a chance to help you.

Hi Dee, I am in the UK and not totally up, on how Yahoo works over there, so
I copy below a reply made by a USA - MVP Gary VanderMolen in answer to a
similar question, HTH?

----------------------

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail.
There are two Yahoo solutions:

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mai...iew/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mai...op/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Get a free Gmail account.
* Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail
email program.

Just to add to Gary's post, free Hotmail accounts now work in Windows Mail
