I cannot send a report of suspected spyware. After a thermometer bar seems
to indicate activity, I get the message: "An error occurred submitting the
scan results. Please check you (sic) Internet settings and try again." Since
I AM NOT using a proxy, whatever can be the matter?

Yes, other users have encountered that issue, unfortunately there is no fix
or work around at this time. Try back in beta 2.
