Cannot send or recieve Yahoo and Gmail mail in Outlook 2007

I Cannot send or recieve Yahoo and Gmail mail in Outlook 2007 but can recieve
and send by my outlook email address.

As in you set up yahoo and gmail accts but they won't work in outlook or
people using yahoo and gmail addresses can't send you email?

Assuming the first, what type of accts did you configure? Do you have a paid
Yahoo.com account?

I had already downloaded ypop's and it still doesn't work for me. Did you
mean that I still need a payed yahoomail together with ypops?

No. Paid accounts to access yahoo direct, ypops works with free accts.
Configuration or firewall issues would be the most likely reasons its not
working.

I can send yahoomail & gmail from outlook but cannot recieve. I get the error
message:
Receiving" reported error (0x80042108) : Outlook cannot connect to your
incoming (POP3) e-mail server.

Are you using the correct port numbers for GMail? Proper authentication?
Have you reviewed gmail's help? It has all the settings you need.

Same for yahoo - if you have a paid acct, check yahoo's help to verify you
have the acct configured correctly.
