I searched for an answer but cannot send a presentation (about 30 slides) in
an attachment using Outlook Express. I saved it as a powerpoint show.
Everytime I do it I get a 451 timeout. Server error 451 #0x800CCCOF. I uped
the timing of the smtp and still do not know what is happening.

Would appreciate any assistance.

Thank you.

Mary,

I'm guessing the 'filesize' of the file you are trying to send is toooo big
for email.

Generally if the filesize is less than 1mb (mega byte) then it should send
no problem
2mb - probably ok

any bigger than that and things start to have problems.

So what can you do?

see
Why are my PowerPoint files so big? What can I do about it?

If your pps file is too big for email you can use yousendit.com. Works
fine.

Hi buddy:
It may because your powerpoint file is too big to be an attachment.
Normally the attachment is restrict to 2M.
You can compress it with WINRAR, or convert it to Flash to reduce 90% size
