very strange, If i compose a new message and click send the message will not
send it will just sit in the outbox. If i reply to a message the message will
sit in the outbox then dissappear and be sent (like normal) if go in
accounts and click test connection everything works ok. i get the test
message in my inbox.

Any ideas

I have the same problem so some help on this would be appreciated. My email
goes thru a network and I can email ok within the network, it just won't let
me outside of it. Does anyone know what setting might be causing this?

I had a similar problem. Anytime I pressed send, my message went to the
outbox. I had to highlight it and hit send/receive.
Tools, Options, Mail setup, check the box that says "Send immediately when
connected".
This seemed to solve my problem.
