Hello
I have been trying to send emails using windows mail but i keep getting
an error code (The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Your
eBay item has been shipped.', Account: 'POP3', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCC0E)
This account used to works fine but now i can only recieve emails. Any
ideas???

a) First, you probably would call Comcast to see whats happening, tho the
chances of getting a good tech are slim.
b) Second, you probably would follow

c) Third, you probably would post to microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail
for Windows Mail questions, since it doesn't have anything to do with
Microsoft Outlook.

This is not related to Office's Outlook. Windows Mail is the new vista name
for Outlook Express. That error code could mean your email acct is not set up
properly. Check with Comcast for the right settings. I think you need
authentication settings. Read this-
