When I try to send a .jpg picture from my saved pictures file I get the
following error:
windows mail removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your
mail: "picture name" .jpg (205kb).url
Do I have to change a security setting?

ou're not doing it the right way - you're sending a LINK to the file,
not the file itself.

Attach the file using the paper-clip icon in the task bar, rather than
by dragging it to themessage

Its not attaching the actual image but a URL to the image. Try going to
Insert | File attachment or drag the image overtop a new message to attach
it and see if that works.
