I am trying to send a small 'Snagit' capture of about 28kb and get the
message from MS Outlook "Cannot send this item".
No further explanation.
Why can Outlook not send this?

What version of Outlook are you using? Are you embedding the image in a
message or attaching it as a separate file?

Did you fill out a correct e-mail address for the recipient?

Thank you, Ben, for coming back to me.
I am using Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6316.5000)
The 'Snagit' extract was attached as a file.
I tried to send it as a reply to a query.
Thinking that the reply address might be faulty I keyed in the address
separately with the same result.
I hope this information helps.
If I knew of a way to, in this forum, send you the actual email with the
'cannot send this item' message, I would "Snagit" that and send to you.

What format is the Snagit file in? Is it a JPEG? GIF? BMP?

What anti-virus software are you using? Have you tried putting the
SnagIt file in a ZIP file ("compressed folder") and sending it that way?
