Cannot send fax w/cover page

Suddenly I can no longer preview or send a fax with XP Fax if I attempt to
add a cover page. If I try to preview, I get the message "fax preview
cannot be displayed" and the fax never appears in the outbox or sends when
the wizard completes. Even if I don't try to preview the fax still never
appears in the outbox or attempts to send after the wizard finishes. If I
don't attach a cover page it works fine. I can open and edit both the
standard cover pages and my own cover pages from the fax console or by
double
clicking the .cov files in Explorer with no problem. I have uninstalled and
reinstalled Fax. No help.
I have noticed there have been a number of posts here in the past from
people with this exact same issue, but no solutions. Have any of you since
found a fix?

Thanks,

Steve Zurlo

"Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"

I should have noted in my first post that I CAN preview as long as I don't
include a cover page. Basically everything works fine as long as I do not
include a cover page. If I do include a cover page the fax will not send no
matter if I try to preview or not and will not preview period.

Thanks, but that is not it. When I double click sent items or inbox items
they open up correctly in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer every time.
Basically everything in Fax works exactly as advertised except if I include
a cover page (any cover page) I cannot preview or send the fax.

Sorry. I have no repros on this.
List the steps that recreate this scenario.

OK, but I was rather more interested in what happened just before "Suddenly"
in your first post.
Something works.
Something "suddenly" stops working.
What changes were made just before "suddenly?"

Sorry, I misunderstood. By "suddenly" I meant that with no prior indication
of a problem. I send maybe 2 faxes a week, some weeks none. The last one I
tried to send
revealed this issue. The previous one (maybe a week prior) went fine. No
changes were made, that I can recall. No new applications were installed or
any other config changes as far as I can remember.
