Cannot send emails get error message- unkown error 80040201

Suddenly last week I became unable to send emails from any of my accounts. I
get the following error message- Task'(E-Mail Removed)-Sending'
reported error (0x80040201) : 'Unknown Error 0x80040201.
Since that time. I have reinstalled my email account in Tools. I was able to
send and receive a Test message through the account setup menu with no
problem. I have done a repair of my MS Office. The email worked for one day,
and then stopped again. I have created a new profile, and after creating the
email accounts , it would not work either. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I am wondering if you ever resolved this error message. I am receiving the
same message although I can send and receive emails just fine.

Yes I resolved the problem by turning off Outlook and going to Mozilla
Thunderbird.
It is faster and easier to use than Outlook, although admittedly it has
fewer features.
