i am using microsft outlook 2007 and i cannot send emails to address that end
with @bigpond.com. i can recive them and can send and receive all other
emails. stranger still my friend who is on the same local network does not
have the same problem, this suggests that it is my outlook which is causing
the problem. all our settings are the same however, no idea whats wrong and
very annoyed. Can anyone help me.

When you send a message to that domain, does it leave your Outbox and go
into your Sent Items folder? At that point, your mail server has accepted
the message and responsibility for delivering it. You may need to talk to
the people who run your email server if that's the case to further
troubleshoot the issue.
