Cannot Send email in Outlook 2007 to Comcast

I have just installed a trial version of Office 2007 on new computer which is
running Visa Service pack 1. I imported my old data from Outlook 2003 via the
Mailbox.pst file. I can receive messages no trouble. However, when I attempt
to send a message I get error message Authentication Required error
550.5.1.0.

I have checked and rechecked my settings, they are the same setting I have
in Microsoft Mail which works fine. including SMTP port 587

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Really want to use Outlook
