The error I receive is this:
Task 'pop.att.yahoo.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC78) : 'Unable to
send the message. Please verify the e-mail address in your account
properties. The server responded: 530 authentication required - for help go
to http://help.yahoo.com/sbc/dsl/mail/pop/pop-11.html'

Obviously I have checked the email addresses...in fact, I cannot even send a
test message from myself to myself! My att webmail works fine - so i have
been sending messages that way - but this is exasperating having to use both
the webmail and outlook!! ...and i've used outlook 2002 since 2002, so I have
7 years of business information on this that I do not want to particularly
scrap. I don't know what to do - i've had tons of trouble with Outlook in
the past 2 weeks and not sure what has caused it. HELP!

Use authentication for outgoing mail and use yahoo login for it and change
the outgoing mail port.

# Yahoo! Mail Settings

Yahoo Mail offers standard POP3 access for receiving emails incoming through
your Yahoo mailbox, by using your favorite email client software. To setup
your email client for working with your Yahoo account, you need to select the
POP3 protocol and use the following mail server settings:

Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)

Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)

POP Yahoo! Mail Plus email server settings

Yahoo Plus Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (SSL
enabled, port 995)

Yahoo Plus Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (SSL
enabled, port 465, use authentication)

In addition to changing your outgoing SMTP port, also make sure you check
the box that says to authenticate to your outgoing SMTP server.
