Cannot send email based on a template ??

Dear all,

I have a template in a .oft file format that I would like to use and send
from outlook.
For that I defined a new mail based on that template, the template gets
displayed in the body message, but then when pressing the send button, the
message remains forever in the outbox.

Any idea what happen ? sending normal mail works fine
