Outlook genterates these errors when sending attachments
through wireless netwwork adapter and router connected to
a cable modem. Sending attachments works fine through the
same system using my Win 98 computer coneected wirelessly
to the routher.

I would pose this question to your netwwork adapter manufacturer, as your
Outlook is obviously working correctly per your own comment. Outlook does
not care whether you use an adapter vs router. This is assuming your
statement "works fine through the same system" means the exact same
computer, difference whether the RJ connecter is plugged into the router
directly or into an adapter. Also, since you did not specify what the exact
error message is, it leaves too much for assumptions.
