Cannot send attachment from Word

I have installed Office 2007 SP1. When I have't Outlook running I unable send
attachment from Word. I receiving next message:

Unable send message. MAPI error: "Unknown error".

When Outlook is running I can send this message without any errors.

Can you help me?
