it has been a "long" time since i installed mine(qty3)
and just inserted them and they appeared in start-mycomp.
when installed did it ask for name.... g: or ##mb ????
try control panel -> add hardware.
try removing and reinserting device.....
try turn-off/restart computer....this always works for me
when i get confusing occurance...somehow windowsxp fixes
itself...!!!!....
good luck.....these devices are great....no data on hard
drive so when one computer is down another can read data.
