When I creat a folder that contains Note Items it is not shown in Folder List
and hence I cannot see the items in that folder. The created Folder can be
seen when I for example try to Copy Design Form or chek the main folder
Properties > Folder Size, so the folder exists. Any ideas?

Show all folders - not just your email.

This was the answer and I managed to sort it out at about same time as you
replied.
I think the Navigation pane is rather misleading for an ordinary user
because selecting Mail shows All Mail Folders which looks almost exactly like
the Folder list. Still in Mail view you can create any type of subfolder
which then is not shown in the view. This caused my confusion.
