I cannot see the network printer on my PC

I have been trying to install a printer on my PC. I have Windows XP Pro &
Windows NT Server. When I start add printer and try to locate the network
printer through the add printer wizard, I cannot see any network printer
installed. I also cannot see any workstation or server on my network places.
But I can connect to the internet and also print on another network printer.
Please help with the solution.
