If the computers have Windows XP or IE6 then chances are they do not have
the Java Virtual Machine installed which is require for Java applet to be
viewed. MS is no longer distributing the JVM, so many users will have the
same issue with not being able to see any Java applet. It has been
recommended that Java applets not be used, and instead use JavaScript image
swap script, etc. to accomplish similar effects.
